Health Knowledge Should Be
Free for Everyone
My Health Chart was founded by a team of board-certified physicians who believed one simple thing — that understanding your own health should never require a medical degree, a hospital login, or an expensive consultation.
🎯 Our Mission
1: Make health education free, clear, and accessible to every person — regardless of location or income.
2: Help patients understand their MyHealthChart records, lab results, and doctor’s notes without confusion.
3: Provide doctor-reviewed tools that track the same metrics your physician uses at every appointment.
4: Connect patients with verified specialist doctors across 18 medical specialties worldwide.
5: Never sell user data, never display health ads, and never compromise patient privacy for profit.
Born from a Simple Frustration
It started in a hospital waiting room. Dr. Rania Hassan, then a practising internist, watched patient after patient leave their appointments clutching lab reports they clearly didn’t understand. They’d been handed numbers — cholesterol values, HbA1c percentages, creatinine levels — with no real explanation of what those numbers meant for their daily lives.
She realised that the information gap in healthcare wasn’t about data — hospitals had plenty of that, especially with patient portals like MyHealthChart giving people access to their full medical records. The gap was in understanding. Patients had access to their numbers but not to the knowledge that made those numbers meaningful.
In 2023, Dr. Hassan brought together a founding team of seven other specialist physicians and launched My Health Chart — a platform designed to sit alongside hospital portals and turn confusing medical data into clear, actionable health knowledge.
Today, MyHealthChart serves patients across 50+ countries with free health tools, interactive charts, doctor-reviewed guides, and a growing library of medical articles — all written in plain English, all completely free, and all reviewed by our medical team before publication.
Our Core Values
Every decision we make — from how we write an article to how we design a tool — is guided by these six principles.
🔬
Evidence-Based Always
Every piece of content on My Health Chart is grounded in peer-reviewed medical research and references WHO, NHS, CDC, and AHA clinical guidelines. We cite our sources. We never publish health claims without evidence.
🔓
Radically Free
Health knowledge should not be a luxury. Every tool, article, guide, and chart on this platform is free — no subscription, no paywall, no premium tier. We are funded by partnerships, not by charging patients for education.
🗣️
Plain Language
We translate medical jargon into everyday language. If a 16-year-old can't understand our explanation of a lab result, we rewrite it. Clarity is not a compromise — it is the goal.
🔒
Privacy First
We do not sell your health data. We do not share your information with insurers, employers, or advertisers. Data you enter into our tools stays in your browser. Your health is your business — not ours to monetise.
👩⚕️
Doctor-Led
No content goes live without physician review. Our founding medical team reads, fact-checks, and approves every article, guide, and tool before it reaches you. This is a medical platform run by medical professionals.
🌐
Globally Inclusive
We design for every patient — regardless of country, language, income level, or technical ability. Our tools work on any device, our content is written for global audiences, and our platform will always be accessible.
